2015 Metal Casting Technology Station Colloquium

The 2015 MCTS Colloquium aims at exploring the responses of the South African Foundries to the Technology Localisation imperatives. These responses include research and development, technology transfer, skill development, funding availability and many other forms in the field metal casting. The two days in the 2015 MCTS Colloquium will provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on the collective actions of the local foundry industry and to look at the way forward. Ametex PTY Ltd is sponsoring the first day of the 2015 MCTS Colloquium, which includes the MAGMA 5.3 Optimisation Workshop. Benefits of optimising casting processes will be presented by Dr. Ing Ingo Hahn through a live demonstration and foundry examples.
